Effective June 1, 2010 the State of Georgia implemented the Georgia
Water Stewardship Act. Gone is the odd-even watering schedule. You
may water as needed any day of the week between the hours of 4pm and
10am. No outdoor watering is allowed between the hours of 10am and
4pm.
  • Professionally installed landscapes may watered daily at any time for a
    period of 30 days.
  • Personal food gardens may be watered daily at any time.
  • Hand watering with a hose using a head with an automatic shut off valve
    or a hand held water bucket is permitted at any time during the day.
  • Watering with a personal well is permitted at any time.
